Now that you have defined your function, it can be evaluated from the Home screen using proper function notation. Let's evaluate f(4.5) again using this new method. Since f was defined as Y3, we will enter this as Y3(4.5). The Y3 symbol is located in the Y-VARS submenu of the VARS key.

 2nd QUIT key. CLEAR key.

 VARS key. Right arrow key. 1: menu selection. 3: menu selection. Left parenthesis key. 4.5 Right parenthesis key. ENTER key.
