Next, identify the vertices (corners) of this region. There are four vertices. Two of them are y-intercepts where the graphs of Y1 and Y3 intersect the y-axis. These points can be found using the CALC value command and entering 0 for x. The two points are (0,2) and (0,4). A third vertex occurs on the x-axis. It appears to be an x-intercept shared by the graphs of Y1 and Y2. We will find it using the CALC intersect command. |
