Because a logarithmic function is the inverse of an exponential function, one way to graph a logarithmic function is to first graph its inverse (the exponential function), then use the DrawInv command. Let's graph the logarithmic function using this method. The exponential function is its inverse. Enter the exponential function as Y1. Then adjust the WINDOW as shown and use Zoom ZSquare to graph the exponential function (this will ensure the y = x reflection appears normal in the next step). |
