The center of the circle is (-3, 4) and the radius is 6. Let's use a viewing window that is 14 units wide and tall (since the diameter of the circle is 12). This means we must set each edge of the window 7 units from the center, which can be accomplished by subtracting and adding 7 to the x and y-coordinate of the center. Notice there are two problems with this graph. The circle looks more like an ellipse, and there are gaps at the left and right side of the circle that shouldn't be there. |
