EXPONENTIAL FUNCTIONS Evaluating (Page 3 of 5)

For exponential functions with base ten, there is a special key to use. It is a 2nd function located over the LOG key. key.

Let's evaluate f(x) = 10^x for x = 1.6. You do not need to enter the base first; the key will do that for you. Simply press the key, then enter the exponent.

 CLEAR key.

 2nd 10 to the x key. 1.6 Right parenthesis key. ENTER key.
