You can also compute the number of combinations of n objects taken r at a time using the nCr command located in the MATH PRB submenu. For example, let's find the number of combinations of 10 items taken 6 at a time. The variable n is the total number of items and r is the number of objects selected from the n items. So, use n = 10 and r = 6. Enter the value of n first, then the command, followed by the value of r. The number of combinations of 6 items taken from 10 items is 210. |
