The general form of the model is shown, as well as the value of each parameter used in the model (a, b, c and d). For this example, the regression model is y = 295sin(0.64x + 0.16) + 970, approximately. Press Y= key. to see that the model has been stored in the function editor as function Y1 automatically. The sinusoidal regression model is always calculated in radians, so be sure the calculator is in Radian mode before graphing the model against the data.
