SEQUENCES | Evaluating A Sequence (Page 1 of 11) |
There are many different ways to evaluate a sequence on the TI-83 or TI-84. We will begin with some examples that can be performed in normal function mode (default mode). Let's find the first five terms of the sequence . This can be done on the Home screen using the seq command found in the LIST OPS submenu. You must specify the rule for the sequence, the variable name used to define the rule, the first term number and the last term number. With this command, you may start at any term number you like. You are not required to begin with the first term. |
