For an optimal window, we consider the period and amplitude. The period will be 2π(365/2π) = 365. The amplitude is 1, but the graph has been shifted upward 1/2 unit, so the range will be (-1/2, 3/2). We will set the WINDOW to accommodate the period and the range (we added a bit of extra space on the range). Also, we have set the scale on the x-axis to 31 to represent about a month in time (assuming the period of 365 correlates to one year). |
