You can also evaluate a trigonometric function when the angle is given in DMS format. For example, let's approximate cos(-152° 39' 17").

When in degree mode, use the radian symbol if the angle is in radians. For example, let's approximate cot(3). Since no degree symbol is present on the angle, it is assumed to be in radians.
