ANGLES Angle Arithmetic In DMS (Page 1 of 2)

Angle measures in DMS format can be added or subtracted easily. The result will be displayed in decimal degrees unless you add the DMS command.

First, return to Degree mode. Then add 72° 55' 10" and 25° 7' 30" and have the calculator display the result in DMS format.

 MODE key. [Degree] ENTER key. Calculator screen image.
 2nd QUIT key. CLEAR key.

 72 2nd ANGLE key. 1: menu selection. 55 2nd ANGLE key. 2: menu selection. 10 ALPHA key. ALPHA Quote key. Plus key. 25 2nd ANGLE key. 1: menu selection.
 7 2nd ANGLE key. 2: menu selection. 30 ALPHA key. ALPHA Quote key. ENTER key.
