Now we will consider a more complicated example that involves two different roots. Let's approximate . Notice that we had to include a multiplication symbol between the 3 and the sixth root of 15. This is necessary for the calculator to be able to differentiate the number 3 from the index of the following radical (six). No additional parentheses were required for the sixth root since the radicand is a single number, not an expression. |
