Now we will have the calculator automatically adjust the vertical settings for the viewing rectangle. This is done with the ZOOM ZoomFit command. The TI-83/84 will compute the highest and lowest y-value of the function for all x-values between the current Xmin and Xmax settings, then adjust Ymin and Ymax as necessary to accommodate this range. The result is a window in which the graph perfectly "fits" the viewing rectangle.
