INSTRUCTIONS | How To Use The Tutorial (Page 1 of 4) |
For best viewing results, set your monitor to 800x600 resolution. This will allow you to see each page of the tutorial without having to use scroll bars. Also, if the π (pi), Δ (delta), ∞ (infinity) and ≈ (approximate) symbols are displayed, your browser is properly enabled for this tutorial. If not, click here for more browser help. The TI-83/TI-84 Tutorial is essentially a series of lessons, each of which explores a particular topic. The tutorial is designed to lead you through each topic, explaining one or more techniques on each page. At the top of each page is the topic heading, as well as your current position in the topic (indicated by the page number). The content of each page will typically consist of some dialogue or explanation, followed by an example. Have your calculator in hand and try each example as you work through each lesson. The appropriate key sequence that you should enter is given, plus a screen image so that you can check the results. By clicking on any screen image a new window will open with either a larger version of the image or a larger screen-animation. You can watch the animation and see each step of the process. To run the animation again, just click the refresh button on your browser. This can be done as many times as you like. When you are finished viewing the animation, close the new window to return to the tutorial. |
