INSTRUCTIONS | How To Use The Tutorial (Page 3 of 4) |
On some pages you may find a hyper-link within the dialogue or explanation. This will usually provide some additional information, such as a clarification, a helpful hint, or a reminder of a technique covered in a previous topic. At the end of each topic are some problems that give you an opportunity to practice the skills that were presented in the lesson. At the bottom of the page are icons that allow you to maneuver within the tutorial. The left arrow will take you back to the previous page in the current topic, or to the last page of the previous topic. The right arrow will take you forward to the next page of the current topic or to the first page of the next topic. You can click the CONTENTS button at any time to view the Table of Contents. This way you can move about within the tutorial however you please, exploring headings or topics in any order. If you click on the INDEX button, you will be shown a topical index and a Key index that contains links to all the pages of significance in the tutorial where various keys have been used. This is a helpful reference if you want to explore the various applications for a particular key. That is, you can take a "key centered" approach to learning the TI-83/TI-84 rather than a "topic centered" approach. |
