The first step is to enter the expression for the function in the function editor. To do this, the dependent variable r must be isolated. We access the function editor by pressing the key as usual. Let's use the function r = 3 + 3cosθ. We will enter this expression using the TI-83/84 function name r1. The r1 symbol represents the variable r. Use the key to enter the variable θ. In polar mode, this key will give us the variable θ instead of x. |
