Let's solve the radical equation sqrt(2x-5)-2 = sqrt(x-2). We will use the x-intercept method. First set the equation equal to zero: sqrt(2x-5)-2-sqrt(x-2) = 0. Consider the expression on the left side of the equation to be the function f(x) = sqrt(2x-5)-2-sqrt(x-2). Enter this function as Y1, then try a standard window.
