INSTRUCTIONS Radian vs Degree Mode (Page 1 of 1)

The default mode of angle measure for the TI-83 is Radian mode. To have all results displayed or calculated in degrees, the mode setting must be changed to Degree mode. The selection is made in the MODE window.

If you prefer to have results displayed or calculated in radians, change the MODE setting back to the default. For the remainder of this tutorial, always be mindful as to which mode your calculator is in!
